Trading Policies

“Domains” in this document refers to any domains under our scope of operation and that refer to these policies. These domains include but are not limited to planeteclipse.com and shop-eclipse.com.

Terms of Sale

VAT @ the current rate of 17.5% is included on all prices quoted in Pound Sterling and Euros. VAT will only be charged on deliveries made within the EC which is not included on US Dollar pricing. Any price quoted in Euros is done so on an estimated exchange rate only, this may differ from the eventual exchange rate used by credit card companies & banks when payment is made. Planet Eclipse Ltd does not accept responsibility for these differences. All orders must be delivered to the registered cardholders address, address checks will take place, so to avoid unnecessary delay please ensure the correct address is given. We are unable to deliver to foreign military bases, with the exception of BFPO’s. Delivery to PO boxes is also not possible.

It is not possible to inform our customers as to the availability of any particular product. All items on our on-line shop are kept as up to date as possible and in stock. At times we run out of stock, due to shortages with supply. We have no control over this, however, if an item is out of stock we will inform you by email or telephone call and advise on the status of the order. Unless otherwise stated a presumption will be made to dispatch available stock on an order placed and back-order items that are out of stock. Only items dispatched will be charged for. Back order items will be dispatched as soon as they are in stock, pending confirmation from the customer. All international shipments will always be on the basis that any customs duties arising out of the import of the ordered goods into the recipients country will be payable by the recipient. It is not possible for us to calculate these charges in advance since they differ from country to country and product to product. Planet Eclipse Limited will not be held responsible for any such charges. Refusal of payment will result in non-delivery of the goods and the cardholder will be refunded the value of the goods only.Although every effort is made to ensure that goods arrive in good condition, we cannot be held responsible for the actions of the courier used. Any damages must be signed for ‘damaged’ on the receipt for delivery, and claimed for in accordance with the carrier’s terms and conditions.

Due to the fragile nature of paintballs we are unable to make any claim on the customers behalf for any breakages suffered. The customer upon placing the order accepts the risk of damage. Every effort is made to keep products & pricing information up to date. If an error is discoverd in your order we will contact you as soon as possible and inform you of the published error. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an incorrect order and you will have the option to continue with the order at the correct price or to cancel.

Our domains do not operate an automated payment system therefore all orders are validated before they are processed and you will be notified of any errors on your order before we process the transaction. Our system is to be used “As Is”, any attempt to modify / manipulate an order electronically or by any other means is strictly forbidden and we reserve the right withdraw the order.

Returns & Exchanges

Under the European Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund within seven days of delivery.To cancel you must email or write to us within seven days of delivery of your items, quoting your order number. You, the consumer, are obliged to take reasonable care of the items and return them in unused condition with the original packaging and accompanied by the original receipt. The consumer is obliged to return the goods at their own cost within 30 days; Planet Eclipse will not refund this cost. The consumer is responsible for the goods until they are back in the possession of Planet Eclipse, the consumer must claim for any damages caused on the return, from the courier used. If the goods are not returned in unused condition then the right to full refund is forfeited.When returning items that are deemed to be faulty you must contact us by telephone, prior to sending the articles back and obtain instructions and authorised returns reference from the sales staff. Second hand items, or items that are described as seconds, are not deemed as being faulty for the imperfections disclosed at the time of sale.Any goods returned that have no fault as confirmed by our engineers will be subject to a re-stocking charge (WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE A RE-STOCKING FEE AT 20% OF THE INVOICE VALUE FOR GOODS RETURNED). *Note: Incorrect delivery instructions are not a reason for goods to be returned, re-delivery or stock returns will be charged. We will give refunds in accordance with your legal rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 i.e. where goods are not of satisfactory quality or as described. We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow manufactures instructions, misuse, or alteration or repair of the goods (other than that done by our staff). In other instances we will consider an exchange or credit note provided that the goods are returned promptly; in their original condition and with the receipt. Please remember that you are not legally entitled to a refund, subject to Distance Selling Regulations, if:

  • You have changed your mind about the goods.
  • You have damaged the goods.
  • You were aware of the defect before you bought the goods.
  • You find that you no longer need the goods.

All items sold are accompanied with the respective manufacturers warranty only.

Warnings

Paintball Markers are not a toy! Paintball safety rules must be followed at all times. Please adhere to these guidelines.

Paintball Marker Operation

Careless or improper use including failure to follow instructions in the Operators Manual could cause serious injury or death. User and all persons within range of the marker must wear eye and head protection that is specifically designed for paintball use and meets ASTM/CE standards. Always treat the marker as if it were loaded and able to fire, and always fit a barrel blocking device to your marker when not in use on the field of play. Please read and understand all instruction manuals before use. Any installations, modifications or repairs should be carried out by a qualified individual at a licensed and insured paintball facility.

Marker Maintenance

Installation of any parts or maintenance of your Marker should be carried out by a professional Air-smith. De-gas your marker discharging any stored gas in a safe direction. Ensure there is no paint in the breech before commencing any work on your marker.

De-gas your marker, discharging any stored gas in a safe direction, and remove the barrel,loader,air system and any paintballs to make the marker easier and safer to work on.

Warranty

Planet Eclipse offers a 12-month limited warranty period on your Eclipse manufactured electro-pneumatic marker. The Eclipse electro-pneumatic marker is warranted to be free from all manufacturing and production defects for a period of 12 months from the time of original purchase. Warranty cover is dependant on successful completion, and receipt by Planet Eclipse Limited, of warranty registration either in electronic form on www.planeteclipse.com or via mail using the warranty card included in every Eclipse electro-pneumatic marker manual. Warranty exemptions include, but are not limited to, accidental damage, wear and tear, unreasonable force, surface finish and perishable components such as o-rings, valves, screws, solenoids and break beam sensor units (at our discretion).
